I pray Dear God, “Let Them Live.”

I pray dear God, “Let Them Live.”

Dear Jesus I fold my hands and pray for all the little boys and girls like me

I pray that they can live so they can smile and laugh and giggle with glee

I pray that they can get to enjoy life on earth with Mom and Dad in the sun

I pray that they can enjoy family life, the tast of treats, to play and have fun.

I pray dear God, “Let Them Live.”

I pray that they can have a Daddy who will tuck them in bed every night

And a Mommy who gives butterfly kisses and Teddy Bear hugs that are tight

I pray that all children like me dear Jesus will have a chance to live and grow

To watch the birds in the air, the flowers in the field, to feel the wind that blows.

I pray dear God, “Let Them Live.”

To grow up and be big boys and girls, to crawl, to wiggle, to jump and walk

To go to school and make friends, to learn about Jesus, how to pray and to talk

To have birthday parties with friends and family, to go to Church and play in the park

To run under the sprinkler in the Summer and watch the stars twinkle like a spark.

I pray dear God, “Let Them Live.”

I pray that they will be able to Live so they can enjoy the pleasures this Life can bring.

I pray for all kids so they can exercise their talents, to draw, dance, paint and sing

I pray that they will have a chance to live like me in a family who loves and cares

To experience love and forgiveness among all people who love each other and share.

I pray dear God, “Let Them Live”

Poem by ‘Rose Nadeau’, July 5, 2012: It is a silent prayer on behalf of a little child’s heart who appreciates that her Mother chose  ‘Life’  for her and wants other children to also  “live, love and laugh”.
