I want to share with you all what I found to be a very powerful prayer for the cause of ‘Life’. It brought wonderful and unexpected changes into my life, for the cause of the ‘Culture of Life’.
As I am sure most of you are fully aware, the battle between the ‘Culture of Life’ and the ‘Culture of Death’ has never been so evident and so intense. And much is at stake here.
I believe that the more we are aware that we fight not against ‘flesh and blood’ but but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places’. (cf: Ephesians 6:12), then the more victories will be ours, with the help of Heaven’s intervention and aid.
This past year, 2012, has been a very busy, exciting, challenging and fruitful year in my life as an advocate for the ‘Culture of Life’ on Parliament Hill, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
On February 5, 2013, I will have been on Parliament Hill daily, Monday through Friday, protesting against the Culture of Death and more specifically ‘abortion’. I am rendering support and companionship to Father Tony Van Hee, S.J, a committed pro-life veteran who has been there for 23 years.
My Blog, ‘unborn.beborn’ on my website www.aborterrorism.ca will give you a very good idea of what I did here on the ‘Hill’ by the ‘Centennial Flame’. How did I get here? I have only moved to Ottawa recently. I have lived for the most part of my life up North, in Timmins, Ontario. I am a ‘Northerner’.
Here, I must back up to the Year 2002. In 2002, I had just graduated from the University of Saint Paul with a Master of Pastoral Theology, when my plans were drastically changed. Mother suffered a stroke in the Fall of 2001, which left her semi-paralized and in a Nursing Home in Timmins, Ontario.
After seeking the will of God in this situation, I felt my place was to be by my mother’s side, as her principal caregiver and Power of attorney. So, for nine years, from 2002 to June 12th of 2011 I looked after my precious mother. I speak about her on my other website www.striveforheavennow.ca . Her name is ‘Leona Bruneau-Deschenes’.
Those nine years at her side taught me many things about Seniors, about suffering, about true love and the tremendous battle between the ‘Culture of Life’ and the ‘Culture of Death’ for those at the ‘end of Life’. The most important thing I learned during those nine years as my mother’s caregiver, was the importance and ‘Sacredness’ of each human being, and each person’s ‘soul’ in God’s eyes. My mother caused me to reflect deeply on this when she said to me on December 26th, 2005:
“Time is precious,
It gives us time to love,
Time to have God’s preciousness.”

Three months after Mom peacefully left us for the next life, on Pentecost Sunday, June 12th, 2011, I was reflecting on my future. What’s next?? So one morning, after much reflection and seeking of God’s will, I knelt at the ‘foot of the Cross’ in our apartment and said a very powerful prayer. It was a prayer of ‘total abandonment’ to God’s will.
I prayed: “Father God, if You can use me to fight the evil of abortion, I’m Yours.”
Well, three months later, I was in Ottawa, Ontario, with my wife’s full blessing. On October 5th, 2011 I left for Ottawa. I joined up with ‘Cy Winter’ whom I had met up with during a one week “Show the Truth” Tour through the Ottawa Valley, that summer. I teamed up with ‘Cy’, who is very compassionate, spirit-filled, courageous and committed pro-life advocate. He was my mentor for three months, as we spent every afternoon of November, December of 2011 and January of 2012 protesting with graphic abortion signs in front of the abortion mill at 65 Bank Street, Ottawa, Ontario.
On February 5, 2012, I felt the Lord calling me to go to Parlaiment Hill, where I have been ever since. On the Hill, I have the privilege to meet people from Ottawa and all over the world. My pro-life ministry is extended throughout the world by means of my new website www.aborterrorism.ca .
I have shared all of this personal journey with you all to say this most important statement:
“We are all unique and God has a special mission for each one of us. God is calling. Are we listening? He is looking for committed pro-lifers who will seek His face and discover His will and take ‘action’ for the greatest cause there is, the ‘cause of LIFE’. I encourage you, as the ‘New Year 2013’ opens up before us, to get on bended knee, at the foot of the Cross, and pray a prayer of ‘self-surrender’ to God for the cause of LIFE.
If you do, many unborn babies will be saved, many pregnant women will be spared from going through the Hell and trauma of having an abortion. God will lead you by His Holy Sprit, with the help of Mother Mary, Mediatrix of All Graces ( cf: www.fifthmariandogma.com ) and use ‘you’ in ways you never, ever dreamed of, for the ‘Cause of Life.”
