As I read and watched the news about the “33 Chilean miners” trapped in the mine underground on October 13, 2010, http://mobile.reuters.com/article/idUSN0925972620101013?irpc=932
it lead me to write a poem titled: “Stark Contrast Of The Two Wombs.”
The 33 miners made it out of Mother Earth ALIVE and had a ‘second chance’ at life, thanks to much prayer and a concerted, compasssionate national effort to set them free.
If only ‘adults and teens’ the world over would have as much ‘compassion’ for the babies trapped in the wombs of mothers. The WOMB of a woman is the MOST DANGEROUS PLACE to be today, throughout the world, much more so than as a miner underground in a mine.
In Ontario for example, for every 100 babies born, 37 are aborted. They never got a ‘second chance’, not even a ‘first chance’–they died in the womb, torn apart piece by piece.
Please visit www.abortionNo.org and witness the horror of an abortion and then commit yourself to pray and seek God’s will, ask Him what ‘you’ can do to get babies out ALIVE out of the womb. Be one of those ‘compassionate ones’ to be instrumental in giving babies a ‘first chance’ at life!
The 33 Chilean miners were given a ‘second chance’ at life. Let us give all babies at least a ‘first chance’ at life! Come to their rescue, will you?!
Donald Andre Bruneau.
“Stark Contrast Of The Two Wombs.”
Trapped,
In the womb of Mother Earth.
Thirty-three Chilean miners
Discovered alive
On seventeenth day.
Nations,
Full of compassion
Rushed into action
To save the miners’ lives.
Each one so precious.
Millions
Observed the great rescue.
Twas day sixty-nine.
Florencio, first miner reborn
Came forth from womb alive.
Each miner,
Safe within the Phoenix capsule
Left Mother Earth’s womb
Given a second chance at life.
Twas a Miracle.
The world,
Has another type of womb
It often brings death, not life
Within a few or as many
As two-hundred seventy days.
In this womb
Often no second chance at life,
Not even one.
The unborn often dies,
Before getting outside.
Stark contrast
Is the womb of a woman
Most dangerous place to be.
‘Choice’ brings it out
Piece by piece.
It’s Canadian aborterrorism.
One out of three unborn
Never leave the womb alive.
So heartbreaking to see.
When?
Will Canadians,
With the likes of Chilean compassion
Come rescue
The millions of unwanted unborn?
If only,
All the world could see
See the horrors of aborterrorism
They would rescue the unborn
Defend it’s personal right to life!
